Our fur friends are commonly known for their energetic and sometimes naughty personalities. But despite those innate traits within them, our fur friends are also known for being keen observers, which gives them the ability to adapt to a change of circumstances. Just like how one pup was able to lower his energy whenever her fur mom comes around.
Avon is a hyper pup who loves jumping around. But her fur mom, Shea Haugen, noticed that the pup started acting a little calmer than usual. At first, she didn’t understand why, but when she figured it out, Shea’s heart was deeply touched by the pup’s actions.
Shea had been pregnant for about 14 to 15 weeks when Avon started being more gentle around her. She suspects that her pup began acting calmer upon realizing that she was carrying her soon-to-be little brother. Avon no longer jumps around her mom anymore; instead, the pup has become more protective of her.
Avon would sit beside her fur mom and follow her around just to watch over her. And as Shea’s belly grew bigger, the pup has gotten even more invested in caring for her fur mom. Another unusual thing that Avon started doing was to rest her head on Shea’s belly. It turns out the pup enjoys listening to her baby brother move around inside her fur mom’s belly.
And whenever her baby brother kicks, Avon gets excited and starts wagging her tail uncontrollably. Because of Avon’s love for her mom, the pup has seemed to abandon her hyper personality, at least for now. No doubt, Avon can’t wait to meet her new sibling. But for now, Avon will continue to follow her fur mom around and lie her head on her belly as she awaits the new member of their family.
