We’re all foodies at heart, but some take it to another level. This Boxer named Bacchus certainly did, what with his late-night food search in this clip.
This doggo loves to eat, and he’s perpetually in search of treats. It’s not his fault that his parents cook delicious grub, and that aroma did this pet in.
Bacchus would regularly sneak up on the kitchen counter. He knows by observation and experience that mouth-watering goodies are usually located in that area.
He does his reconnaissance at night because this intelligent dog figured he’d meet fewer surprises during that time. This one’s really smart for figuring that out.
His actions make sense because he would probably get a scolding if he does his food-hunting in the morning. Sure, it’s the busiest time in the kitchen, but that’s also when there’s plenty of eyes around.
At night, though, his owners retire to their bedroom. Bacchus is free to roam, sniff, and do his food-hunting without too much to worry about. We say it again, you’re a smart one, doggo!
Unknown to him, his parents used technology to help them prove that it’s their pet who raids the kitchen counter at night. Too many instances of disappearing food must have prompted this.
The dog owners set up a camera, and sure enough, Bacchus came searching. He was mighty good at doing so, too. He stayed in the shadows at first, but he eventually revealed himself.
We could only imagine the surprise on this Boxer’s face once his parents show him this clip. He’d have to explain a lot when that happens, but something tells us he’ll do just fine.
Mad props for channeling your super-spy side, pet! Try to save some food for later, so that you don’t always go hungry at night, okay?
